Kim Keun (1973). Gochang, Corea del Sur. Ganador del premio Munhakdongne de Nuevo Escritor. Publicó el libro de poemas Las excursiones del niño serpiente, y Nos vemos en el cine nube. La poesía de Kim surge, en buena medida, del trabajo que el autor hace a partir del dialecto de la provincia de Gochang, de la que es originario. La obra de Kim emerge de un imaginario en ocasiones sórdido e irónico; su plasticidad y ambigüedad en el lenguaje son dos de los rasgos más evidentes en su obra

Remarks on non-linear noise excitability of some stochastic heat equations

We consider nonlinear parabolic SPDEs of the form $\partial_t u=\Delta u + \lambda \sigma(u)\dot w$ on the interval $(0, L)$, where $\dot w$ denotes space-time white noise, $\sigma$ is Lipschitz continuous. Under Dirichlet boundary conditions and a linear growth condition on $\sigma$, we show that the expected $L^2$-energy is of order $\exp[\text{const}\times\lambda^4]$ as $\lambda\rightarrow \infty$. This significantly improves a recent result of Khoshnevisan and Kim. Our method is very different from theirs and it allows us to arrive at the same conclusion for the same equation but with Neumann boundary condition. This improves over another result of Khoshnevisan and Kim

This research discusses the United States response to North Koreas missile test and Kim Jong Un as a commander. Since the end of the Korean War, North Korea has been trying to develop nuclear weapons and missile test. Various negotiations have been conducted to prevent the development, but these efforts never succeeded. Kim Jong Un as a new commander of North Korea has contin ued the countrys nuclear testing.This research will explain how the Unites States respond to the North Koreas nuclear development, what kind negotiations are being done, and how North Koreas nuclear weapons influences the United States and South Korea security situation.Perspective that used in this research is Realism perspective. The theory used in this research is the offense-defense by Stevan van Evera. Straightening out the concept of direct and indirect input requirements

Gim & Kim (1998) proposed a generalization of Jeong (1982, 1984) reinterpretation of the Hawkins-Simon condition for macroeconomic stability to off-diagonal matrix elements. This generalization is conceptually relevant for it offers a complementary view of interindustry linkages beyond final or net output influence. The extension is completely similar to the 'total flow' idea introduced by Szyrmer (1992) or the 'output-to-output' multiplier of Miller & Blair (2009). However the practical implementation of Gim & Kim is actually faulty since it confuses the appropriate order of output normalization. We provide a new and elementary solution for the correct formalization using standard interindustry accounting concepts.output multipliers, input multipliers, Leontief multipliers.

Cynthia Kim fonds, 2012-2015

Cynthia Kim was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome when she was 42 years old. She has contributed articles to Autism Parenting magazine, Thinking Person’s Guide to Autism, and Autism West Midlands’ magazine. She has also written two books on autism, I Think I Might Be Autistic: A Guide to Autism Spectrum Disorder Diagnosis and Self-Discovery for Adults, and Nerdy, Shy, and Socially Inappropriate: A User Guide to an Asperger Life.Fonds consists of blog entries and video clips from Cynthia Kim’s blog, Musings of an Aspie. Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter … and Spring

El artículo trata de la relación entre naturaleza, arquitectura y paisaje a través de la película Primavera, verano, otoño, invierno… y primavera, de Kim Ki Duk (Corea, 2003). En primer lugar se plantea la adecuación del cine como mirada externa y crítica sobre las disciplinas de transformación del entorno. En segundo lugar, se reflexiona sobre la concepción de espacio que plantea el filme. Y en tercer lugar, esos conceptos se relacionan con diversos referentes, entre ellos la pintura paisajística china clásica, la filosofía taoísta y la idea de vacío.ENG: The article talk about the relationship between nature, architecture and landscape in the Kim Ki Duk’s movie Spring, summer, autumn, winter… and spring, (Korea, 2003). First, the adequacy of the cinema appears as external and critical insight on the disciplines of the environment transformation. Secondly, about the conception of space that raises the movie. Special issue on smart interactions in cyber-physical systems: Humans, agents, robots, machines, and sensors

In recent years, there has been increasing interaction between humans and non‐human systems as we move further beyond the industrial age, the information age, and as we move into the fourth‐generation society. The ability to distinguish between human and non‐human capabilities has become more difficult to discern. Given this, it is common that cyber‐physical systems (CPSs) are rapidly integrated with human functionality, and humans have become increasingly dependent on CPSs to perform their daily routines.The constant indicators of a future where human and non‐human CPSs relationships consistently interact and where they allow each other to navigate through a set of non‐trivial goals is an interesting and rich area of research, discovery, and practical work area. The evidence of con- vergence has rapidly gained clarity, demonstrating that we can use complex combinations of sensors, artificial intelli- gence, and data to augment human life and knowledge. To expand the knowledge in this area, we should explain how to model, design, validate, implement, and experiment with these complex systems of interaction, communication, and networking, which will be developed and explored in this special issue. This special issue will include ideas of the future that are relevant for understanding, discerning, and developing the relationship between humans and non‐ human CPSs as well as the practical nature of systems that facilitate the integration between humans, agents, robots, machines, and sensors (HARMS).Fil: Kim, Donghan.
